On January 10th, 2018, a launch ceremony of the CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences) Advanced Chemical Materials Alliance for Technology Innovation and Industrialization and signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between Chinese Academy of Sciences Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CASH), Zaozhuang municipal government, and Tengzhou government was held in Tengzhou, Shandong Province. Mr. Deng Maicun, Party Member and Secretary-General of CAS, Mr. Wu Lebin, Secretary of CAS Enterprise Party Committee and Chairman of CASH, Mr. Suo Jishuan, General Manager of CASH, Mr. Zhao Qianjun, Deputy Director of Bureau of Science & Technology for Development Chinese Academy of Sciences (BSTD), Mr. Wang Qi, Vice-General Manager of CASH, Mr. Zheng Yueming, President of Levima attended the ceremony.
CAS Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry, Chengdu Organic Chemicals Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry, Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd., etc., 14 research institutes of CAS as well as related enterprises were elected members of CAS Advanced Chemical Materials Alliance for Technology Innovation and Industrialization. Levima Advanced Materials was selected as director of its board. The establishment of alliance has been positively responded and strongly supported by all board members. Leaders of 14 institute board members as well as officers working in technology transformation and industrialization were present at the conference.
Adhering to the concept of “enterprise-based, market-oriented” and integrating “innovation chain, industry chain and capital chain” of all board members, the alliance will build an innovation system which fully integrates R&D, manufacturing and sales, creating an advanced material cluster of advanced materials. It will accelerate the innovation development and industrialization process of advanced materials industry and consequently make contribution to the transformation from “Made in China” to “Created in China”.
